What We Are Going To Do With Nok Terracotta Museum-Kaduna Dep. Gov, Bantex  


The Deputy Governor Of Kaduna State, Mr. Barnabas Bala Bantex has disclosed the plans by the State government to developed the Nok terracottas museum.


Speaking on Thursday, at the Commissioning of Nok exhibition National Museum, Bantex who represented the Governor said “We will ensure the development of the Nok Museum and the propose enlistment of the Nok discovery sites as a national heritage sites are given the required attention by government.”


“Kaduna will undertake to construct the road leading to Nok Town to facilitate easy movement” to the site.

Bala commended the National Commission for Museums and Monument for partnering with the University of Frankfurt, Ahmadu Bello University, and University of Jos to birth the Nok exhibition which he said has the potential to add value to Kaduna as a tourist destination

He promised Kaduna State’s commitment to partner with the National Museum to ensure that it retains its pre-eminent position as a tourist attraction.
