The three kidnapped staff of the Shehu Idris College of Health Science and Technology, Makarfi, in Kaduna State have regained their freedom.
The threo regain freedom on Tuesday evening.
A text message by the Sole Administrator of the College, Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyu reads “Please be informed that the three kidnapped staff of Shehu Idris College of Health Science and Technology Makarfi were released this night at about 8pm. I the Administrator of the College negotiated with the kidnappers and they released them to me”. Yusuf Yakubu.
Earlier today, the vehicle belonging to the staff was seen abandoned between Tashar Yari and the college site with one tyre punched.
The statement didn’t disclose if ransom was paid before their release.
