Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, has on Friday swear-in 40 newly appointed Special Advisers.
Speaking during the occasion held at international conference center Kasarawa Sokoto, the governor tasked the new special advisers to remain commited and prudent in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
He said their appointments were based on merit and their ability to contribute to the development of the state.
” as special advisers, government and people of the state are expecting much from you, through working axidiously to ensure even development in the state”
” I congratulate you for all for your new appointment and wish that your tenure will be productive”
The special advisers who were sworned in batches have three women.
The governor however warned them against lexity and non challant attitude to work, saying that hr would not hesitate to sanctioned any one found wanting among them.
He said portfolios would soon give to them in due course, dding that government would provide enabling environment for them to showcase their talent.
“what we expect from you is total commitment and loyalty and anything short of that will not be accepted, work hard to develop the state” Tambuwal charged.
