The Senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly under the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Shehu Sani has said that Muslims won’t vote for governor Nasir El-Rufai in the coming election.
Sani, while reacting to comment made by el-Rufai at a Channels Television morning show, Sunrise Daily that Christians in Kaduna have made up their minds not to vote for him even before he picked a Muslim woman as his running mate for his re-election.
Speaking during a live Channels TV programme, ‘Politics Today’ Sani said it was not only the Christian that won’t vote for El-Rufai but the Muslims won’t vote for him too.
“Nasiru is unfit to be governor,” Sani said, referring to the consensus of Kaduna people to off load him during the polls.
According to the activist turned politician, el-Rufai’s romance with president Buhari won’t save him from the decision of the majority of Kaduna voters that are determined to get rid of him through the ballot.
“He has subjected the people into difficulties. People are suffering,” Sani said while insisting that the people are against the governor because of what he described as anti-people policies since assuming office.
