Plateau state government has review the dusk to dawn curfew it imposed on three local government areas of Plateau state, following eruption of violence, leading to death of over 219 people, worth property with millions destroyed.
A statement signed the secretary to the Plateau state government Rufus Bature on Monday said curfew hours now begin from 10:00pm till 6:00am each day, till further notice.
It will be recalled that the Plateau state government had imposed a dust to dawn curfew on Barkinlada, Riyom and Jos south local governments Sunday 24th June 2018, following escalation of the Barkinladi violent to some parts of Riyom and Jos south metropolis.
Checks by our reporter in Jos revealed that the curfew had hinder most businesses activities which strive at night has been badly affected.
Citizens who violated the earlier curfew hours were allegedly manhandled by security operatives keeping vigil.
