Though, most states of the southern Nigeria including Benue state from the north central part of the country have rejected the Ruga policy.
In Benue state, the state house of assembly had last week ordered immediate demolition of the sign Bord amounted in some parts of the state, preparatory to the implemention of the Ruga policy.
The federal ministry of agriculture is implementing the Ruga policy, already, Niger state have commenced the implementations of the policy.
