The elders in a statement in made available to newsmen in Jos on Tuesday , commended the governor for sacking making the right choice,  saying that they have not been disappointed.

They urged the members of the State House of Assembly to do the needful by speedily confirming the nominees as members of the state executive council.
The statement said, “We are not surprised that Lalong will listen to our pleas. It shows that he is a listening governor who has the interest of the state at heart.
“The ball is now in the court of the legislators to do the needful and confirm the nominees as soon as possible. We trust that the nominees are capable of discharging any responsibility entrusted on them. “
In their request to the governor,  the elders had also asked Lalong to extend the same hammer to some of his advisers and bring on board competent and hard working people with the zeal to perform.
