The Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. AA Sule, on Health matters, Dr. Princess Margaret Itake Elayo, have joined other meaningful Nigerians to congratulate him (Governor Sule) over his victory for the just concluded Saturday’s gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
You would recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Monday March 19, 2023 declared Governor AA Sule as the winner of the Saturday’s gubernatorial election, which was keenly contested by his closest rival, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
According to the result announced by the INEC in the early hours of Monday, the State Returning Officer, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, Plateau State, Professor Ishaya Tanko, said Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 347,209 votes against Umbugadu’s 283,016 votes to emerge winner.
In her congratulatory message, Margaret said power is usually given by God Almighty to whomever He chooses to; and if God chooses a man, nobody can take it away from him.
“I wish to use this medium to congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State in person of Engr. AA Sule, for his re-election.
“God has chosen you again to lead Nasarawa state and to exceed in all expectations and nobody can take it away from you”, she said.
The Senior Special Assistant also advised the citizens and friends of Nasarawa State come together regardless of religion, tribe and other affiliations to support Governor AA Sule.
“It is very important at this time for all citizens of Nasarawa state and friends of Nasarawa state to come together regardless of religion, tribe, or any other affiliations and supports His excellency the Executive Governor of Nasarawa state Engr. Double A Sule having been re-elected for the second time to build a Nasarawa state of our dreams.
“Let’s all support his Excellency In sustaining the peace and improving a quality of life of our entire people. Thank you Nasarawa people for choosing Engr. Double A Sule the Executive Gov.again. I believe that his tenure will bring us prosperity and progress”, she added.
