Mr. Garba appealed to government at all levels to adequately secure his constituents from external aggression, he therefore sued for peace among citizens living in the area.

He supported the move by security operatives toward combing southern Kaduna of illegal arms in the hands of some citizens, and allegedly using to perpetrate the ongoing killings in the area.

“The move by security operatives to mop up arms among citizens of southern Kaduna is a welcome development, Nigerian law did not permit Nigerians citizens to hold arms, and if people possess arms illegally, and are using same to perpetrate evil, then it should be check and retrieve. This measure might help curtail and even end the violence, enough of the killings” the Lawmaker noted.

It will be recalled that stakeholders at the parley urged Fulani herdsmen not to allow under age children grass cows around farms during farming season.
