Chairman, supporters group of the former governor of Kano state Rabiu Kwankoso, also known as “Kwankwasiya” in Plateau state John Tokji, has debunk allegations of accusations making around that he (John Tokji) accused secretary of the group Bashir Sati of diverting rice donated to the group during the recently concluded Eid Al Fitr (Sallah)
Mr. Tokji, in an interview with Journalists in Jos, on Sunday, dismissed the insinuations; he said the report was unfounded, false and baseless.
“The reporter in question must have a different motive behind the report he published on “Universal Reporters Online.” I did not say such a thing or mentioned the name of anyone, not even the name of my secretary Hon Bashir Musa Sati. I have respect for all of our member.
Assuming such a thing occur, and we want address it, we have a channel of addressing our issues, not to go to the media, Hon Bashir Musa Sati has been a family friend and I have no any form of grudge against him.”
Mr. Tokji added that “what the reporter did in his report is mischievous and best known to him. It is unprofessional and a total blackmail aimed at sparking quarry between us. The interview we had was, an expression of appreciation to the Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankoso over his numerous humanitarian assistance to the public and nothing more” Mr. Tokji stressed.
It is on record that an Online medium (KAKAAKi Reporters) not included, had published a report credited to Mr. John Tokji, that he said Bashir Sati, diverted 26 bags of rice meant for distribution to members of the Kwankwasiya group in Plateau state to use in celebration of Sallah.
Mr. Tokji therefore demanded for public apology from the said medium through the reporter to clears his name before the group and the general public over the false allegations.
According to the Kwankwasiya boss in Plateau state, the former Kano state governor Rabiu Kwankoso, have been of immense help in humanitarian assistance to not just members of the political group.
He said Senator Kwankoso had sponsored indigent students of Plateau origin on scholarship, currently studding within Plateau state.
“Plateau people have felt great impact of Senator Kwankoso, he is given out scholarship to 10 indigenes of Plateau state at the University of Jos; and others schooling at Federal College of Education Pankshin.”
