Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KAD-SIECOM) has reschedules elections for 5 local government areas to June 2nd.
Chairperson of the commission, Dr. Saratu Dikko who affirmed the results of the of local government elections as announced by returning officers, said rerun elections for Kaduna South and Chikun local government areas will be hold in June 12 with that of Kajuru, Jaba and Kaura local government areas who were cancel.
While announcing results of the conclusive Local Government Areas the Commission Chairman says: ” Birnin-Gwari was won by APC with 34,153 votes, Giwa won by APC with 57,005 votes.
According to her, Igabi won by APC with 47, 640, Ikara APC with 42,312, Jama’a was won by PDP with 45, 361, Kachia won by PDP with 42, 242 votes.
While in Kagarko APC won with 63,262, Kauru won by PDP with 24, 395, Kubau APC with 47, 535, Lere APC with 92,854, Kaduna North won by APC with 168,572 votes.
Also in Kudan APC won with 72,021 votes, Makarfi APC won with 22, 190, Sabon Gari was won by APC with total votes of 20, 576, Zango Kataf was won by PDP with vote cast of 55,643.
Sanga, Soba and Zaria Local Government Areas were won by the APC with votes cast of 23, 685; 40,903; 42,859 respectively.
