Kaduna Council Polls: PDP Wins Jema’a local government

The returning officer of the Jema’a local government area of Kaduna State, Dr. Harold Makeri has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Peter Averik winner of the Chairmanship position in the Saturday’s local government council elections.
The PDP candidate scored a total votes of 45,361 to defeat him closest rival Mrs. Cecilia Musa of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who pull 25,179 Votes.
The announcement put to end apprehension that followed the delayed in the collation of results after the abscondment of the wards presiding officers.
