President Irigwe Development Association Sunday Abdul said the 15 persons were killed in the Thursday night attack; Mr Sunday described the killing of the 15 of his kinsmen Thursday night as an invention on their community by Fulani in collaboration with Nigeria Army.
“Nine persons the same family were killed, by the attackers, a husband and wife were also killed, then this morning (Friday) we uncovered four more dead bodies totalling 15 persons killed.”
According to Irigwe Development President, the Soldiers in military attire accompanied some Fulani people to the said scene four days ago in search for a Fulani person who they said have been missing in the area where the 15 people were brutally murdered last night.
The Irigwe Association President said the curfew imposed by government was not the solution to the unrest, but rather give more avenue to kill natives.
“To us curfew is a mere ceremony, hindering movement by our people to be killed by uniform men.” He alleges.
He call for withdrawal of soldiers from their community, to be replaced by Mobile police force.
