The Senator representing Kaduna north senatorial district, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi has revealed how the National Chairman All progressive Congress (APC) Chief John Oyegun plot and executed the botch ward Congresses in Kaduna State.
He alleged that “in a closed Door meeting between Oyegun, El- rufai and comrade Adamu, (the APC Kaduna State, Ward/Local Government Congress Chairman), the APC National Chairman ordered Modibbo to deliver APC Structure to its rightful owners/pointing to elrufai.
“Oyegun’s visit to Kaduna State on 4th May, 2018 was indeed for the purpose of fine tuning the plan to deliver APC, Kaduna State Structure to Elrufai, therefore, we call on the EFFCC to Investigate Financial fraud against Gullible APC Members in Kaduna State, Paying 10th of Millions of Naira to Account without APC fulfilling its contractual obligations,” he said.
The Senator who disclosed this while addressing a press conference yesterday said, “the 4th May, 2018 Chief John Oyegun visit to Kaduna is continuation of the APC tenure elongation project which the National Chairman, the Governor and others reviewed and perfected their plans of how to carry forward the botched tenure elongation which was earlier shut down by Mr. President earlier principled stand.
“The meeting discussed on how to create chaos and foister on the party a stalemeted nationwide congress outing- so that the Oyegun Leadership may continue in office.
“The meeting discussed other plans on how to truncate the Congresses in critical States of the North West, South South and the North east.
“N500 Million Naira was Voted, by a Minister in cahoot with the Rufai group to deploy very heavy publicity and Adopt other National Working Committee Members of the APC into what was tagged the APC Congresses Elongation Project” – Phase 2.
“Kaduna State was chosen for the implementation and ground breaking processes.
“APC Kaduna State was yesterday 5th may, 2018 raped and its Democratic Virginity violated in a Grand Design by the APC tenure elongation project phase 2 – Headed by chief John Oyegun the outgoing National Chairmen and Nasir El-rufai, Governor of Kaduna State.
“We are NOT leading our people and Kaduna State into a cul-de-sac.
“Therefore we are not surrendering our sovereign and fundamental right of self-determination to enemies of democracy who are only after their self-perpetuation in office, therefore we would not relent in exercising every available window within the party and the ambit of the law” Hunkuyi stated.
