Engr. Seth Bakut, a founding member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has declared the State governor as an “autocratic ruler who must not be trusted with power for the second term”.
Bakut, who served as an appointee in the early days of Governor el-Rufai in office as Acting Manager, Kaduna State Property Development Company to Special Assistant on due process to the Governor was however sacked without corgent reason.
While fielding question from our Correspondent in Kaduna, the young politician said, “el-Rufai administration is only good at meting hardship, injustices and been intolerant to the plight of the people who voted him into power.”
According to him, “el-Rufai government does not give room for fair hearing and does not listen to the plight of the common Man.”
He further accused Governor el-Rufai of being and autocratic leader with his cabinet members been intolerant and ready to lavish anything evil on who disagrees with their policies.
“el-Rufai government have decided to rule the people with an iron face as well as imposed hardship to the people who elected them.
“We realized the change slogan was not true that was why we decided to moved to a place where our voices will be heard and be respected through forming coalition to removed the government in power,” he said.
Mr. Bakut contested for the Kaduna State House of Assembly seat in 2015 under the APC to represent Zonkwa Constituency by pulling 18,600 with the incumbent lawmaker, Mr. Ishaku Irimiya Kantiok who pulled 19,000 votes during the last general elections.
