Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai on Sunday came face to face with a rejection protest from angry citizens of the state.
The rejection protest took place at Kudan Local government Area, the local government of the Senator representing Kaduna North Senatorial district, Senator Suleiman Uthman Hukunyi.
Kakaaki Reporters learnt governor El-Rufai had gone to Kudan town to attend a weeding fatiha.
But, shortly after the weeding solemnization at the Kudan central mosques, citizens went besiege and started shouting in Hausa ‘Bama so’ ‘Bama yi’ meaning ‘we don’t want’ ‘we are not doing again’
The two minutes and fourty-two second video of the rejection protest which was obtained by Kakaaki Reporters shows the thousands of people in Kudan town booing the governor.
The video shows the governor been protected by security operatives, even as protesters rejected all pleas from the governor’s entourage.
The protesters said they were concerned by the way governance is been carry out under the leadership of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai.
This is the first time governor el-Rufai will be facing a rejection protest after two years of his administration.
