The Kaduna stateGobernor mallam Nasir El-Rufai has approved the appointment of Manasseh Istifanus as Special Assistant on Media to the Deputy Governor of the state, Architect Barnabas Yusuf Bala.
Until his appointment, Istifanus was the director of media and publicity of the Kaduna state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A statement signs and issued to Journalists on Kaduna by Samuel Aruwan, Governor El-Rufai’s spokesperson, said that the appointment is with immediate effect.
Istifanus replaced Ezekiel Sunday Abang who has been re-assigned as Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Deputy Governor. He holds a degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Governor El-Rufai, who received Istifanus in audience today, congratulated him and charged him to bring his energy, knowledge and experience to public service, and make a contribution to moving the state forward.
