Breaking News: Gov Lalong’s Aide Resigns

A special Assistant to governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state Alhaji Sabiu Ibrahim Musa has tender his resignation as “Special Assistant”

“Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation from my position as Special Assistant to the executive governor Plateau state, Rt Hon Simon Bako Lalong. Today 3rd August 2018 would be my last day as Special Assistant.” The aide stated.

Alhaji Sabiu in a two paragraph one page resignation letter dated 3rd August 2018 issued in Jos, on Friday, however thanked governor Lalong for the appointment accorded them.

The letter indicates that the former Special Assistant to governor Simon Lalong was appointed 16 months ago, with the monthly salaries of 65000 Naira.

“I received an offer to serve as Special Assistant on the 3rd April, 2017 and after serving in this capacity, I feel it is time to resign and concentrate on my new endeavor.”

It will be recalled that the out going Special Assistant to governor Lalong contested the 2015 governorship elections on the platform Action Democratic Congress, ADC.

Political analyst said the ADC governorship candidate Alhaji Sabiu Ibrahim Musa lost the 2015 election following omission of his party logo on the party.
