A 22-year-old boy, Abdullahi Adamu, charged for criminal conspiracy, theft, causing grievous hurt and unlawful possession of weapon and mischief, has confessed to have been used by Hon. Uba Sani, the Political Adviser to Governor Nasir elrufai of kaduna state.
The suspect, Adamu, who gave his address as no. 2 Rafin Gusa road, Kaduna, together with his gangs members allegedly conspired, armed themselves with cutlass and Axes and invaded the House of the complainant, Senator Shehu Sani, of kaduna Central, and inflicted injuries on them and made away with their valuables.
Adamu made the confession in the First Information Reports, FIR, Judicial form 1, submitted to Court by authorised police officer, in kaduna.
Abdullahi Adamu, the suspect who was arranged before chief magistrate Court, Barnawa, Kaduna, last week on the 5 Count charges bothering on criminal conspiracy, theft, causing grievous hurt, unlawful possession of weapon and mischief, however pleaded not guilty to the charges.
“The aforementioned case was transfered to the criminal investigation and intelligence department (CIID), Kaduna by the divisional police officer kawo kaduna along side one suspect Abdullahi Adamu, male, of no. 2 rafin gusa Road kaduna.”To the effect that on 28/8/2017, at about O300hour, one Bashir Mohammed, male, in company of one Sarkin Dauda, male, all of Turunkwu Road kawo kaduna reported to the above mentioned divisional headquarters that on the same date and time, the above mentioned suspect with his gangs members conspired, armed themselves with cutlass and Axes and invaded the House of the complainant, inflicted injuries on them and made away with their valuables.
“During investigation the suspect voluntarily confessed to the crimes and and further confessed to have been used by one honourable Ubah Sani to destroyed the campaign poster of one Senator Shehu Sani, representing kaduna Central constituency, contrary to section 59,271,223,393 and 313 of kaduna state law 2017”, the statement added.
The chief magistrate Court 5, Barnawa Hon. Abdullahi Maigamu, has adjourned the case to July, and asked the suspect to be remanded in prison custody until the next hearing.
