APC Primaries: 32 Yr Old, Zock Get Reps Ticket In Kaduna

A 32 year old House of Representatives aspirant, Mr. Gabriel Ha’ar Zock has emerged the flagg-bearer of Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State.
Mr. Zock, a young business mogul and a philanthropist who wins with a landslide victory polled 426 votes beating his opponent Hon. Daniel Akwando who polled 213 votes while Hajiya Maimuna got 20 votes out of 639 valid votes cast during the party’s primary, held in Kafanchan old township Stadium, Jema’a local government area of the Kaduna State.
The Electoral committee Chairman Engr. Gabriel Uduseri announced Mr. Zock as the winner of the primary election.
The 32 year old aspirant had while fielding questions from Journalists assured citizens of credible and responsive representation in the National Assembly.
According to him, “the nation is full of old people who have vehemently refused to give power to the younger generations, it is time for us as Youth to rise up to the realities on ground, to break the jinx that has been trending for long.”
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing into law the ‘Not Too Young To Run Act’ which has pave way for the youth participation in politics.
“I will ensure i sponsor bills that will protect the interest of the Youths. We must therefore work toward changing the status quo and the only way we can do this is by involving ourselves into politics,” he said.
