The crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has produced two factional Chairmen that will lead the party in the next four years.
While Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada (retd) emerged the Chairman of the Nasir el-Rufai led APC, Col. Albehu Dauda Gora (retd) emerged Chairman of the Senators Suleiman Hukunyi and Shehu Sani’s led APC.
A member of the APC, Alhaji Tijani Ramalan, Mr. Gora emerges Chairman of the party by consensus from members of the Party.
Gora who spoke our Correspondent said he will ensure internal democracy and all members will be carried along.
Speaking to our Correspondent, Senator Hukunyi described the Congress that produces Jekada as “illegal”.
“We will not recognized the Congresses that produces Emmanuel Jekada, because the foundation was faulty,” he said.
Senator Shehu Sani said the congresses conducted by the el-Rufai’s control APC in the State was illegal and cannot stand.
