Another Heavy Blow For APC, As Saraki’s Chief Of Staff, Hakeem Baba Ahmed Quit

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has loosed another bigwig of the party on Monday, the Chief of Staff to the Senate President, Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed.

The resignation was contained in a statement dated July 2nd July, 2018 which was personally signed by him, and made available to Journalists in Kaduna.

Dr. Hakeem Baba Ahmed was the first APC Chairman in Kaduna State, who predicted the demise of PDP come 2015.

“This statement is to inform the public of my resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC). I have sent a formal letter to this effect to the Chairman of my ward, ” he said.

According to him,” I am quitting the Party because its has grossly underperformed.

“This has been a very difficult decision, to leave a party I helped form and made my humble contributions to put in power. After three years, however, I need to say that the APC has grossly under-performed, and has forfeited any claim to my loyalty and continued membership.”
