Over 200 Youths  in the early hours of Thursday 22nd March,2018 storm Narayi Police Station in Kaduna metropolis and set it ablaze.

We that,”trouble started when the youth demanded that the Police in Narayi should hand over to them, the pastor in charge of the church where the young man was alleged to have died.

It was gathered that the Police had taken the pastor into protective custody after he had reported that a youth doing some construction work for the church had died in the process.

When our correspondent visited the affected property, heavily armed policemen in several trucks were seen on ground.

An eyewitness disclosed that,” When the hoodlums came, the police on duty were seriously outnumbered, so they took off heels for safety.

“The youth besides torching the Police Station, made away with not fewer than seven motorcycles belonging to their personnel as well as vandalising a Honda Accord vehicle popularly known as Hennessey, belonging to an officer.

When the burnt church was visited around 9:30am, the fire was still burning.
