Security operatives comprising military and the police have successfully repelled armed bandit attack on Kujeni community of Kajuru Local government in Kaduna State.
Mr. Cafra Caino, Chairman of Kajuru local government, told our Correspondent that the bandits were prevented from causing much havoc y security operatives.
KAKAAKI REPORTERS gathered that the bandits riding on motorists storm the community, killing one person and cart away foodstuffs.
According to Mr. Cafra, “One Bala Umaru aged about 95 was killed in the attack with a motorcycle burnt in Kujeni. Food items and other valuables stolen or destroyed.”
He said, for the quick intervention of the security operatives, the bandits would have cause much havoc on the residents.
He commended the security operatives for their “uncommon courage and bravery” in repelling the armed bandits.
