The Kaura Local Government Area Caretaker Committee Chairman In Kaduna State, Dr. Bege Katuka has been kidnapped.
Sources said, the Local government chairman was kidnapped at his farm in Juji community, Chikun Local government area by unidentifiable gunmen.
A source close to the council Chairman said the Dr. Katuka has rode to the farm on a commercial motorcycle popular known as “Okada” and on reaching the farm, the kidnappers who besieged the farm opened fire on the “Okada” rider, killing him and whisked away their target.
The Public Relations office of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige could not respond to our inquiries.
