Arewa Youth Patriotic Front, a Northern Nigeria  youth group has vowed to defend the integrity of Barr. Allen Onyema, Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace amidst deliberate moves to tarnish his reputation by desperate individuals.

Bagudu Joseph, Chairman of the Arewa front and Yusuf Adamu, Secretary warn trouble makers to stay clear of the Air Peace CEO.

The group was reacting to an online publication suggesting  that a former Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Chairman,  Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Mr Kingsley Kuku purportedly used billions of Naira stolen from the Amnesty programme to purchase airplanes to start Air Peace, Nigeria’s leading airline. 

According to the group, “the publication is a continuous rehearsal of falsehood.”

“The group is saddened by the continued campaigns of calumny again Airpeace and it CEO, Barr Allen Onyema by these vicious characters and enemies of Nigeria.

“Air Peace is a pride of Nigeria and Nigerians, we will resist any attempt by anybody or group of persons to continue to undermine the noble gestures of Barr. Allen Onyema, particularly in the area of job creation for teaming Nigerians and his philanthropic gestures.

“We call on the FG to continue to give all the necessary support to indigenous airlines to grow and continue to do our country proud,” he said.

The group appeal to Nigerian Youths to rise in defence of Mr. Onyema, “a detribalize Nigerian with a heart of humanity”.
