The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced another round of 490 new positive cases recorded as at 16th June, 2020.

Lagos State lead with 142, FCT 60, Bayelsa State with 54, Rivers State with 39 cases, Delta State 37, Oyo State 30, Kaduna State with 26 and Imo State 23 new cases.

In Kaduna, Governor Nasir el-Rufai has disclosed that 26 samples have returned positive out of 190 tested. 

He said “seven are from community testing at the Gangara border area of Giwa LGA, 8 from Igabi, 6 from Chikun and 5 from Kaduna North. One patient is due for discharge.”
