Bauchi-In Bauchi State 69 persons have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the new molecular laboratory in the state, bringing the total number of infection to 364.

This was contained in the BAUCHI COVID-19 SITUATION REPORT and made available to journalists in Bauchi state.

According to the report , a total of 2,478 samples have been collected so far since the state recorded it first index case with 71 samples currently pending.

The report stated that the state now has a total of 131 new active cases with no discharged person.

“As of today, 9th June 2020, the Case Fatality Rate has shifted back from 3.1% to 2.5%, it indicates an improvement in fatalities, no loss of life recorded from any of our patients”

“So far a total number of 224 have been recovered, certified and discharged to go to their respective homes to complete recovery process” The report read
