ITF Rewards Hardworking Staff With Cars, Houses

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) has rewarded it hard-working staff with incentives and Cars.

KAKAAKI REPORTERS gathered that about 151 staff got cars on loan, others got shelter.


According to ITF’s director general, Sir Joseph Ari “the ITF revolving loan scheme; a breakdown shows that 116, 800,00 was disbursed to 151 staff as motor vehicle loan. 300,000 staff as housing.”

Sir Joseph Ari, stated this Tuesday during her annual award ceremony, held at it headquarters in Jos, Plateau state.


During the event, Isolo Area office of the Industrial Training Fund, was adjudged the overall best performing Area office in training category.


The prize for the best revenue generating area office was clinched by the Abuja area office, other area offices which got revenue generating Award were Warri and Lafia Area offices respectively.


The Industrial Training Fund has a total of 38 Area offices across Nigeria, including the Jos Area office, where it headquarter is located.


The Director General revealed that a total of 904 staff were prompted last year, with two, who got the post of Director; 1,770 member of staff were retrained on capacity development.


According to the ITF Director General, the prizes are meant to ginger up other units and individuals to perform their duties better in the years ahead.


In his address, the governor of Plateau state Simon Lalong, said ITF is doing well in the area of capacity building of not just it staff but the entire country Nigeria.


Governor Lalong was represented at the occasion by the Commissioner for special duties, Jeremiah werr


He thanked the Fund for the countiued development of manpower in the country, the governor charged staff of ITF to keep the good work they have been doing.
