Plateau Local Government Chairman Appoints 150 Advisers

The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Area in Plateau state, Mr. Shehu Usman, has appointed 150 Advisers into his cabinet.

Senior Information officer of the council Phillip Eflong, made the appointment public via a press release issued in Jos, sent to Journalists on Tuesday.

“Usman made this known while presenting letters of political appointment to about 150 advisers at the Local Government Council Secretariat.” It explained.

According to the information officer, the appointment was made Monday evening at the council secretariat in Jos.

The statement noted that the council boss warmed that his administration will not tolerate any act of indulence and lawlessness from any political apolitical appointee in the area.

The Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Usman  however congratulated the appointees, tasked them to work in line with the policy thrust of the state government, to provide devidence of democracy to the people at the grass root.

The appointees include a chief of staff to the council chairman Sani Kura, five senior special advisers, fourty senior special assistance, and one hundred and five special assistance.
