Mr. Badung is the current chairman, medical and health workers Union of Nigeria, Plateau state chapter.

A press release signed by the NLC chairman Comrade Eugene Manji, on Wednesday, stated that the decision was taking by NLC State Executive Council (SEC) meeting held at the state Secretariat.

Comrade Manji said that SEC agreed that an acting secretary be appointed locally for the council since the National Secretariat of NLC was yet to post one to the council as enshrined in the Constitution of the Congress.

“Badung, Chairman, Medical and Health Workers Union, Plateau State was appointed by SEC to serve as acting secretary of the council.”

The NLC chairman also said that the SEC approved the dissolution of all standing committees inherited by the new administration.

“SEC agreed that new standing committees be appointed and inaugurated to assist the State Action Committee in carrying its responsibilities.’’
